Nepal Traveller Publication was started in March 1984 under Nepal Recreation Centers in the country with a sole purpose of promoting tourism in the country and to disseminate information on Nepal to the tourists. After the opening of the first casino in Nepal in 1976, a reliable media was felt needed to promote them in different parts of India. To meet this need, the magazine named ‘Nepal This Month’ was first got published, which also happens to be the first color magazine of Nepal. In the end of 1979, the magazine Nepal This Month was changed to ‘Enjoy Nepal’ and then to ‘Nepal Traveller’  in 1983 along with news-based tourism Magazine,  Nepal Travel Trade Reporter (NTTR). Likewise, Shangri La In-flight magazine was started upon Nepal Airlines Corporation’s request. Nepal Traveller Publication started attending all the leading travel trade fairs globally as the mission to promote Nepalese tourism worldwide. Millions of copies of all this publication were distributed free of cost at international trade fairs and via mails to all the leading travel agents, business houses, embassies and clubs internationally. Currently Nepal Traveller Publication publishes two reputed travel magazines namely Nepal Travel Trade Reporter (NTTR) and Nepal Traveller.

NEPAL TRAVEL TRADE REPORTER (NTTR): Nepal Travel Trade Reporter was launched in June 1983 as a monthly magazine. Realizing its popularity among the travel trade people and due to its rising demand, it has been made fortnightly now. NTTR is the leading travel trade magazine in the whole of Nepal and covers contemporary issues, news on tourism as well as destination information’s on both inbound and outbound tourism. NTTR has always been a healthy platform for travel trade people to express their views and opinions on any given context and contemporary issues on tourism, travel and trade. NTTR promotes the packages and schemes floated by hotels, travel agencies, airline and Tourism Boards. The magazine has been appreciated by academicians and policy makers alike, for its reliability and accuracy of the news and articles published at different times of the year. The popularity of NTTR is such that many travel and tourism colleges have taken it as the book of reference to teach about the latest tourism trend to their students.

Distribution & circulations : 10,000 of the magazine is distributed to all the executive of corporate houses, star hotels, resorts, travel agencies, associations, airlines, Tourists information centers, money exchangers, foreign organizations, educational institutions, libraries, clubs, banks, health clubs, departmental stores, immigration office, NGOs & INGOs etc and government offices.

Nepal Traveller: Nepal Traveller is a bi-monthly travel magazine which gives useful and substantial information about the sightseeing places, culture, destinations and festivals to the tourists and any interested individuals as well as available tourism infrastructures such as hotels, casinos, airlines etc. Nepal Traveller has a name of its own in the travel market not only within the country but globally. It is the oldest travel magazine in the country, serving its tourism industry for more than three decades now.  

Distribution & circulations:  20,000 copies of the magazines are distributed free of cost in all the hotels and resorts of Nepal to be kept in their rooms and also distributed in tourism associations, tourism-related companies, libraries, clubs, banks, business houses, embassies, Nepali missions abroad, NGOs, INGOs casinos and all the leading trade fairs
